The top 10 goalscorers in Europe in 2026-27: Raphinha, Mbappe, Yamal…

Big names like Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappe and Raphinha are leading the scoring charts across Europe so far this season, but there are also some under-the-radar names and even a golden oldie.

Harry Kane was the top scorer in Europe last season with 36 Bundesliga goals, but he surprisingly doesn’t (yet) feature in the top 10 so far this season.

Here are the top 10 goalscorers from Europe’s five major leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1) this season.

Note: if two players are tied on goals, we’ve ordered them by their minutes-per-goal ratio.

10. Antonio Raimondo – 8 goals

Frosinone have one of the most prolific trios in European football, largely thanks to Raimondo’s exploits.

Bologna let Raimondo stay with the Serie A newcomers for a second season on loan after he helped them win promotion and he’s taken to the top flight like a duck to water.

He’s scored eight goals in 10 appearances, including a hat-trick in a recent 4-2 win over Sassuolo.

Top strikers have been in short supply for Italy in recent years, so he might be one to watch.

9. Yassir Zabiri – 8 goals

After signing Zabiri in February but seeing him fail to score in his first six games for the club, Rennes sent him on loan to La Liga newcomers Racing Santander for the 2026-27 season.

He’s hit the ground running with eight goals this year, after coming on as a sub in the first two games of the season.

A hat-trick on his first start against Elche justified the decision to include him and he soon added a match-winning brace against Alaves.

8. Lassine Sinayoko – 8 goals

Nobody expected Paris FC to be sitting fourth in Ligue 1 after nine rounds of fixtures, but Liam Rosenior is doing a remarkable job in the French capital.

Sinayoko has been central to their unlikely rise. The Mali international scored twice in their latest 3-1 victory over Monaco, taking his tally to eight goals in eight appearances.

7. Donyell Malen – 8 goals

Malen has been in outstanding form for Roma, scoring eight goals in just 569 minutes of Serie A football.

The Dutchman is averaging a goal every 71 minutes and also bagged a brace against Real Madrid in the Champions League (albeit in a defeat).

The one-time Aston Villa man is the latest in a long line of strikers to thrive under Gian Piero Gasperini, who has been getting the best out of forwards since Diego Milito at Genoa and later worked wonders with the likes of Duvan Zapata, Luis Muriel and Mateo Retegui at Atalanta.

6. Erling Haaland – 9 goals

Same old story.

Haaland is up to nine goals from his nine outings of the 2026-27 Premier League campaign.

He’s won three Golden Boots in four years since arriving in England and we really can’t see beyond him claiming another this season.

5. Gustavo Varela – 9 goals

Keep an eye on this lad. Varela is just 21 years old, but he’s already looking like a serious talent at Serie A underdogs Monza, with a goal a game in Serie A since his summer move from Benfica.

The Portuguese youngster has been banging in the goals despite his side’s struggles. Surely bigger clubs will be taking notice.

4. Niclas Fullkrug – 9 goals

The West Ham striker curse strikes again.

Fullkrug looked a shadow of his former self during his miserable spell in East London, but he’s rediscovered his goalscoring touch back in Germany.

Still technically a West Ham player, the veteran striker has scored nine goals in eight Bundesliga appearances since returning to Werder Bremen.

He’s averaging a goal every 72 minutes, a phenomenal return for a player who looked completely finished in the Premier League.

3. Lamine Yamal – 10 goals

The extraordinary rise continues. Yamal recently declared himself and Mbappe the best two players on the planet, and he might have a point.

Yamal drew a blank in Barca’s first two games of the season, but hit braces in three consecutive games: against Rayo Vallecano, Valencia and Levante.

He’s now reached double figures in La Liga after just 11 appearances, putting him well on course to surpass his previous best goalscoring campaign.

And with seven assists to go alongside those 10 goals, the teenager is doing a pretty good impression of a prime Lionel Messi.

2. Kylian Mbappe – 11 goals

After finishing runner-up to Harry Kane in the 2026 Ballon d’Or voting, Mbappe is on a mission to make damn sure he gets his hands on the golden ball in 2027.

He has 12 goals from 11 games so far this La Liga season – and he’s only actually needed a handful of those games to get the goals in question.

Mbappe got up and running for the season with a hat-trick against Real Sociedad and has also hit braces against Rayo Vallecano, Sevilla and Barcelona in El Clasico.

1. Raphinha – 13 goals

Raphinha has been transformed into a striker this season, and it’s working wonders for Barcelona.

The Brazilian has scored an astonishing 15 goals in just 10 La Liga appearances, putting him comfortably clear at the top of Europe’s goalscoring charts.

He’s averaging a goal every 48 minutes, while his two assists underline that he hasn’t completely abandoned his creative instincts. His momentum was stunted slightly with a knee injury suffered while on international duty, but he’s picked up where he left off with three goals in his last two outings.

Barca could have found themselves with a Lewandowski-shaped void up front this season, but Raphinha is having other ideas.
