Spotlight: Cadillac already has better facilities than Mercedes, says Bottas | Brief

Cadillac remain yet to score a point in their first season in Formula 1 but Valtteri Bottas says their progress is clear to see.

“We are definitely seeing an improvement somewhere every weekend,” he told the Financial Times. “It’s not necessarily in the results yet, but it’s in how we operate as a team in different areas.”

Bottas scored all 10 of his grand prix victories for Mercedes. He drove for the world champions between 2017 and 2021.

Cadillac is based partly at Silverstone, a short distance from Mercedes’ Brackley factory. Asked whether his new team’s facilities are better than the world champions’, Bottas replied: “I would say so.”
