Scott returns for Scotland's WXV Tests in Australia

Lucia Scott

Lucia Scott returns to the Scotland women squad for this month's WXV Global Series fixtures with Australia in Sydney and Canberra, while uncapped Nicole Flynn and Imogen Spence are both included by interim head coach Dave Butcher.

Injury meant Scott did not feature in the recent home defeats by Canada, New Zealand and Australia in Edinburgh, with the Tests down under on 17 and 23 October completing this year's series.

Fellow back Rachel Phillips is available again after sitting out the last meeting with Australia because of concussion protocols.

However, experienced duo Alex Stewart and Emma Wassell miss out on the tour with injury.

The Scots play their hosts at Accor Stadium in Sydney on 17 October (03:00 BST) and then the Gio Stadium in the capital six days later (09:45).
