SA20 2027: Full squads for each team after the auction

The SA20 2027 player auction concluded on Wednesday, October 7, in Johannesburg. Here are the full squads for each team after the event.

Joburg Super Kings were the most active team at the SA20 2027 player auction, winning multiple bidding wars with MI Cape Town, including bringing Faf du Plessis back for R2.7 million. They also acquired the 18-year old all-round sensation Jason Rowles for R2.9 million, making him the most expensive signing of the auction.

Kieron Pollard, who has been associated with the Mumbai Indians franchise all his career, will now be seen in yellow after the Super Kings snapped him up for R1.5 million uncontested. They have also brought in Jamie Overton as their wildcard pick.

MI Cape Town shelled R2.6 million for Wiaan Mulder, while also signing Shimron Hetmyer and Trent Boult for R1.5 million each. Rassie van der Dussen, who played for MI Cape Town for the first four seasons, will move to Pretoria Capitals for R500,000, alongside Proteas captain Temba Bavuma.

Reigning champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape bolstered their side further with the addition of Nandre Burger to their already impressive pace attack.
