Denver's defense up against it as both starting corners Riley Moss and Patrick Surtain are out injured and will not return while receiver Pat Bryant has just been carted into the locker room.

The Broncos have the ball over midfield though with the 30-yard play Bryant ended up injured from. JK Dobbins then moves the chains to San Fran's 30-yard line. Promising stuff.

The Chiefs make hay off the back of the monster rush from Walker. Tyquan Thornton has his second touchdown catch after No 1 receiver Rashee Rice exited earlier in the game with an injury.

In a shocking turn of events the Vikings kicker has his fifth field goal of the match.

Huge play from Kenneth Walker who breaks off a massive 76-yard gain on the ground. Almost takes it in but is tackled just shy of the end zone.

The backup running back fights his way over the goalline to give LA some life.

The 49ers are in the redzone on 1st and Goal. Deebo Samuel takes San Francisco to the two-yard line. Home crowd anticipating a big score here. Christian McCaffrey is stopped for no gain. On 3rd and Goal Purdy fakes the handoff and finds Samuel wide open for the score.

JK Dobbins scrambles to give Denver a five-yard shot on 3rd down. Another Nix drop back and he tries to run for it to the left but is stopped well short. The Broncos punt. Eighth punt of the game in total. Yawn.

The 49ers make a slow start to the second half and punt. The Broncos are struggling to move the ball on the ground but they get a 1st down after an 11-yard pass to Pat Bryant from Bo Nix.

Minnesota's kicker stays perfect with a fourth boot of the game.

Big stop for the Chiefs who break up a short pass on 4th down. Did Las Vegas get greedy after deciding to turn down a field goal they scored after a penalty on the Chiefs? Maybe. Kansas City take over on offense looking to make them pay.

Kicker by the name of Dicker puts the Chargers two scores behind at the break.

Surtain is struggling to make it off the field and looks to be done for the day. That will leave a big hole in Denver's secondary for the rest of the night. Purdy finds Evans again to put the Niners in field goal territory, just.

Bad news for Denver as Patrick Surtain is down with a non contact injury after a 25-yard pass to Mike Evans from Brock Purdy. The 49ers are a few yards short of midfield looking to take a lead into the second half.

The Raiders go into the half ahead after some great throws from Kirk Cousins. The veteran QB is on top form throwing 12/18 for 146 yards and a toucdown. Outperforming Patrick Mahomes so far.

Seattle rebounding nicely after last week's shock defeat to Washington. LA need a response quickly to avoid a shocking 0-4 start.

The 49ers go conservative near the goalline and make sure they level the scores as half-time nears. Masterful stand by Denver as both defenses are ruling the day so far.

Minnesota's kicker is three from three as the half ends. Miami finding no room at all against one of the best defenses in the NFL. The Dolphins have fewer than 100 yards of total offense while converting one of five 3rd downs.

Brock Purdy fires a fastball straight Kyle Juszczyk's head and the big full back holds on for a 12-yard gain. The 49ers sit on Denver's nine yard line after a short run.

Kyler Murray is making plays for Minnesota as the half dwindles away. The quarterback makes passes of 19 and 20 yards but is then sacked for a loss of seven yards. The Vikings are knocked back to Miami's 33 yard line.

Christian McCaffrey puts the 49ers on his back and bulls over midfield for a gain of 10 yards. Brock Purdy throws a deep ball sort of near Mike Evans but the big man has not shot at a catch. Second down. The Niners bust out the end around and Deebo Samuel breaks a tackle for a huge 20-yard gain. Only 23 yards to go for a touchdown.

A massive 16 penalties in this one has brought it in line with the games starting about 20 minutes later. Scrappy.

It's GOOD! Chiefs 7-10 Raiders 3:19, 2nd quarter

The Raiders fans are loving this as the home team take over again with a three-point lead.

Flea flicker!! Only it's a bit clunky and Bo Nix barrels out to the right with no one free to make a catch. Dobbins takes a short catch on 2nd down to bring up 3rd and five. Nix tosses a ball out to the left and Malik Mustapha makes an unbelievable diving stop to break up the pass for the 49ers. Denver's third punt of the night.

Bo Nix is dancing behind blockers to move the chains on 3rd down. Denver edge toward midfield after a JK Dobbins four-yard gain.

A fourth down comes for the Raiders and they get it to keep the chains moving. Kirk Cousins then takes Las Vegas past midfield with a 14-yard pass to Tre Tucker. Raiders over halfway and spying a lead.

Patrick Mahomes is a lucky boy as he throws a short ball to the middle on 3rd down and should have been picked off. The defender drops an easy ball and the quarterback breathes a sigh of relief. Chiefs punt it away.

Punt for Denver after the Broncos go three and out. Great boot to the 15-yard line.

The Vikings double their lead. Miami searching for a response after three punts to start the contest.

San Francisco are over midfield in their response to Denver's field goal after a 22-yard rush from Deebo Samuel. Denver's defense clamp down quickly in response as San Francisco continue the ground game but go nowhere fast. On 4th down the 49ers go for it but Brock Purdy is stopped well short of the sticks. Turnover on downs. Great shot for Denver to extend their lead on the road.

Kansas City in business at 1st and Goal after Patrick Mahomes finds Xavier Worthy for a 41-yard gain. The Raiders get two stops near the goalline to bring up 3rd down. Mahomes finishes the drive off with a pass out wide right to Tyquan Thornton. All square.

TOUCHDOWN! Chargers 3-7 Seahawks 9:55, 1st quarter

Big swing for Seattle as the Chargers muff a punt and the Seahawks jump on the ball. Sam Darnold makes it pay on the very next play with a 23-yard catch and run from Emmanuel Wilson.

The dark horses of the season take the lead over the Chiefs with a beautiful deep ball from Kirk Cousins to tight end Ian Thomas. Cracking start for the black and silver.

Minnesota get the stop and start at their 20-yard line after the Miami punt.

Ollie Gordon bursts through the heart of Minnesota's defense for a 12-yard gain. The backup running back off to a strong start as he manages to fight back to the line of scrimmage after a failed screen pass. The blitz comes and so does 3rd down. Miami escape to the halfway line and keep the drive alive.
