Now they hit the post! Hakimi slides the ball across from the right, and Ferran Torres' sidefoots into the base of the stanchion!
A really good chance for PSG, but Doue overhits his pass to Ferran Torres and the moment passes.
PSG have brought on Akliouche for Kvaratskhelia, and Zabarnyi for Marquinhos. "I'm watching PSG vs Barcelona," writes Michael Meagher. "Marquinhos was wearing black boots. I didn't know they even made them anymore …"
More big-name injury news from Paris, where Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has now been helped off.
That's a nice goal, and a ludicrous finish! The ball is lifted into the penalty area – no pressure on the ball, and a ridiculously deep back-line – Lewis cushions it back into the path of Foden, and he half-volleys right into the top corner, off the inside of the post!

Andreas Helmersen levels for Bodo/Glimt with a nice enough, and very precise, shot but that was just too easy!
Red card! Atletico Madrid's Morten Hjulmand catches Stiller's ankle from behind, and it's an early bath for him!
Barcelona's right-back brings the scores level! He passes infield to Fermin Lopez, inside his own half, spots space opening up in front of him and sprints into it. Lopez spots him – hard not to, given how bright the Barcelona kit is – and picks the pass, and Xavi Espart runs into the area and puts his laces through it, giving Safonov no chance!

That is coolly done! The ball is played across the edge of the area from the right to Rayan Cherki, running onto it on his right foot. He lets it run across him and shifts onto his left, Arriaga is completely befuddled by it, and he uses his new-found space to slam a shot past Brignoli!

And it's 4-0! The keeper goes the right way, but the ball goes the right way quicker. And the deadlock is broken at Porto! It's a scuffed shot from Miljnans on the right of goal, which was going wide until Guus Til turned it in, and it's Porto 0-1 PSV!
And now a penalty for Roma! Wesley Franca is fouled in the box, and Malen has grabbed the ball …
There's been a third for Roma at home to Slovan Bratislava! It's a bit of a mess, with Barseghyan losing the ball as he tried to shepherd it out of play, leading to a brief outbreak of penalty-area ping-pong that ends with Pisilli hammering it into the roof of the net.
Game on! AEK have put together a couple of decent attacks in the second half and this time they're rewarded! Stavros Pilios is in all sorts of space as he runs onto a ball infield from the left, carries it into the box, and slides a low shot past Donnarumma that nestles inside the far post!

Atletico Madrid equalise within two minutes of the restart! Julian Alvarez has the goal, finding the toppest of bins from Ademola Lookman's pass infield from the left.
Manchester City kick off the second half!
The referee ends a spell of intense PSG attacking with a half-time whistle in Paris, and here are the scores as they stand at 8.50pm BST:

The half-time whistle has gone in many of tonight's games, but they're still going in Paris, in the second of three minutes of stoppage time.
Big change at Anfield! It's half-time there and Liverpool have pulled it back to 2-2, Ronald Araujo equalising deep into first-half stoppage time. Scott Murray is watching this one here:
Napoli are back in front, thanks to a nice pass from Kevin de Bruyne and a deflected shot from Scott McTominay. It's Napoli 2-1 Bodo/Glimt now.
Oooo0f! Fermin Lopes has a chance for Barcelona, the keeper saves it, and then the Spaniard tries to volley in the loose ball but connects only with Pacho's head! VAR checks for a possible red card but does not recommend one – it was a genuine attempt to play the ball. Pacho continues, after some medical attention.
Lamine Yamal, favourite to win the Ballon d'Or next week, makes the difference in Paris … by giving the ball away deep inside his own half! It's headed down to Doue, who buries his shot from the edge of the area, with Joan Garcia potentially unsighted by all the defenders ineffectively standing in front of him!

And a second goal for Roma! Malen carries the ball into the area from the left, checks onto his right foot and scuffs a shot towards the far post which dribbles just too far away from Takac for the Bratislava keeper to both save and hold – and Nahuel Molina buries the rebound.

Jamie Leweling gives Stuttgart the lead at home to Atletico, with a left-footed shot from just outside the area which didn't look particularly cleanly struck but was precise enough to zing past Oblak, assisted by a deflection off Hjulmand.
Manchester City are also in the lead-doubling business, Foden cutting infield from the right, passing into the path of Lewis, collecting a smart return pass and hammering into the roof of the net!

The stats suggest that the two teams at Anfield are very well matched, but the scoreline does not – it's 2-0 now, and Sergi Cardona has doubled the Spanish side's lead. And there has also been a goal in Naples, where Bodo/Glimt have equalised thanks to Jens Petter Hauge's lovely, precise finish.
How are PSG not ahead now? Three or four great chances in quick succession are blocked by flying defenders or goalkeepers, each miss less likely than the last.
Meanwhile the physios are back on in Paris, this time to deal with an issue with Olmo, and he too is going to be forced off.
Save! The ball is nodded by Joao Neves into the path of Ferran Torres, who came on for Dembele a few minutes ago for PSG, but he scuffs his attempted finish into Joan Garcia.
Roma take the lead against Slovan Bratislava, Mario Hermoso heading in from the goalline, or near enough, after a free-kick from the left was headed back across goal.

A blow for PSG: Dembele is feeling his right left hamstring and asking to be taken off.
Barcelona's Joao Cancelo is booked for not fouling Doue. He certainly threw a leg out and got nowhere near the ball, but Doue leapt over his leg, absolutely no contact being made, before throwing himself to the ground in apparent agony. Book the both of them, I say.
In Paris, Dani Olmo's 22-yarder swerves just the wrong side of the post. TV cameras find Lenny Kravitz in the crowd. "I don't know whose way it's going to go, but I don't think it's going to go his way," we're told.
Elliot Anderson scores his first goal for Manchester City, and it couldn't have been easier! It's a free-kick from 20 yards or so, which Fernandez sends over the wall, into the bar, off the keeper, and plopping in front of Anderson, who finds an empty net!

In Paris, it's looking like it's going to be a busy night for both goalkeepers. Joan Garcia has been repeatedly tested from distance, while Safonov in the PSG goal has just had a bit of work to do, most recently catching Cubarsi's header on goal.
But there have been goals in Naples, where Matteo Politano has volleyed Napoli into a first-minute lead against Bodo/Glimt, and at Anfield, where Georges Mikautadze has latched onto a Van Dijk back-header to put Villarreal ahead!

PSG hit the post with less than two minutes on the clock! It's Kvaratskhelia with the shot from 20 yards or so, and the ball rebounds off the woodwork straight to Dembele, who a) embarrassingly completely misses the target, and not by a small margin, and b) is offside.
The games have begun! Except for the one in Paris, which is running late.
These are the final moments of pre-match precursive preambulation, with kick-off moments away. "Now, I'm just reading what you've written and I don't know what it looks like, but this might be the week to avoid excessive displays of fire in the French capital, don't you think?" writes Jason Geer. Rest assured, t looked like the very opposite of chaos.
Teams are gathering in tunnels. In Paris, a very fancy light-and-fire display has begun.
Enzo Maresca says Haaland was left out "just to manage his minutes … and also from the last game he had some small problem. It's just a mix of different things."
The Barcelona dressing room certainly has no to be seen, just some small and unpromising plastic containers. PSG are not only top of the table, they also have a top table.

Meanwhile, the Atletico Madrid changing room in Stuttgart features one small table and some bananas.

A peek inside Paris Saint-Germain's dressing-room and their pre-match snack lineup. Fruit, for sure, but then a variety of finger food. French sides, by law*, must offer an array of .

So Erling Haaland is fit enough only for the Manchester City bench, with Enzo Maresca making eight changes to the team that beat Ipswich on Saturday. The most eye-catching pick is 17-year-old midfielder Floyd Samba, son of former Blackburn and QPR centre-back Christopher.

Hello world! Another busy night lies ahead in Europe and in the English Football League, with much attention destined to be focused on Paris, scene in recent days of violence and looting but host tonight of one of the prestige fixtures of the group stage as the teams sitting first and second in the nascent table after two fixtures, five-time champions Barcelona and double reigning champions Paris Saint Germain, meet at the Parc des Princes.
Manchester City, meanwhile, may be without Erling Haaland for the visit of AEK Athens, who are promising not to go all-out defensive for a trip to a side Marko Nikolic, the Greek side's Serbian coach, described as "one of the best teams in the world of football". "We must bring our identity, not change much and be strong on the pitch," he said. "If you change and go defensive and try only to survive, it will not work. We have to stick to the challenge. We want to do it with our game. We can be a decent opponent for everybody. I have a lot of confidence in our team." You can get a decent idea of how much any kind of good result would mean to AEK by the scenes of jubilatory bedlam that greeted yesterday's 1-1 draw in the Uefa Youth League.

Beyond the best two teams in the tournament so far tonight also sees the worst, in the shape of Slovan Bratislava, who visit Roma. Slovan, who last failed to win the Slovakian title in 2018, are currently fourth in their domestic league but their position at the bottom of this table is largely down to them having had the misfortune to come up against PSG, who thumped them 6-1, a goal difference hit from which they are yet to recover.
