England centre Benhard Janse van Rensburg has signed a new contract with Bristol Bears.
The Prem club have not confirmed the length of the 29-year-old's deal.
"I've really enjoyed the way we play rugby here," Janse van Rensburg told Bristol's website.
"It suits my game, gives me the freedom to express myself and challenges me to keep improving."
Janse van Rensburg started Bristol's first two matches of the season but is currently going through return-to-play protocols after being stretchered off following a collision during their win against Northampton earlier this month.
Bristol's director of rugby Pat Lam suggested the centre would miss the next two matches, which could mean he is available to face Exeter Chiefs on Saturday.
This is the third deal Janse van Rensburg has signed with the Bears in a little over three years. He joined the club from London Irish in June 2023, and then extended his contract in November 2025.
Born in South Africa, Janse van Rensburg qualified for England on residency grounds in July, and then scored on his international debut against Fiji.
Lam said: "I'm absolutely delighted BV has extended his time at Bristol as he is genuinely one of the best players I have had the privilege to coach.
"The reason everyone marvels at his consistency of performance week in and out, is all down to his incredible attitude and desire to represent his family with pride and not let his team down.
"He's extremely coachable and the high standards he sets for himself, both in training and on matchdays, is why he's one of the most respected players in the team."
