After world record knock, Prema Rawat takes two wickets
Rawatโs blitz, coupled with skipper and opener Raghvi Bistโs unbeaten 72 off 50, with five fours and four sixes, helped Uttarakand plunder 187-2 in their 20 overs. Rawat notably came on to bat with only 17 deliveries left in the innings before propelling her state side to a commanding total.
The 24-year-old, originally a leg-spinner, then spun a web around Hyderabad batters to return with figures of 2-12 from her four overs. A collective bowling effort from Uttarakhand helped them restrict Hyderabad to just 98-8 and win by a staggering 89 runs.
Rawat has played seven T20Is for India and picked up seven wickets at 18.85 and an economy rate of 5.73.
