The ILT20 for season 5 will be held in Dubai on Thursday, October 1. Up to 400 players from 23 countries will go under the hammer as teams look to build their squads for the upcoming season.

T20 superstars like Babar Azam, Faf du Plessis, Phil Salt, and Liam Livingstone, among others, have registered for the auction, while eyes will be on the exciting talent from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and other associate member nations.

Each franchise will enter the auction with a purse of USD 1.3 million in addition to any remaining amount from USD 700,000 allocated for pre-signings. MI Emirates will start the auction with the largest purse at USD 1.39 million, followed by Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (USD 1.365 million), Desert Vipers and Gulf Giants (USD 1.305 million each).

Dubai Capitals and Sharjah Warriors enter the auction with the smallest purse at USD 1.3 million each. Each team must spend at least USD 1.5 million, and their squad must comprise a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 23 players
