Robinson picked up a staggering 21 wickets in three Tests vs Pakistan at a ridiculous average of 8.76. He also completed 100 Test wickets in the process, from just 24 Tests. His bowling average of 19.25 is now the best among all bowlers to pick 100 or more wickets in Tests in the last 100 years.

Following a terrific show against Pakistan, Robinson jumped two places to third in the ICC rankings, surpassing Jasprit Bumrah and . Meanwhile, in the only other change in the top 10 Test rankings for bowlers, Pakistan’s Noman Ali slipped a place to 10th after missing both Tests in England, while Australia’s Josh Hazlewood jumped to ninth.
