England and Sri Lanka will face each other in three T20Is next week, with the opening game to be played at the Rose Bowl in Southampton on Tuesday, September 15. The last two T20Is of the series will take place on Thursday, September 17 and Saturday, September 19 in Cardiff and Manchester.

The first two matches of the series will get underway at 6:30pm local time (11pm IST) while the last game will start at 2:30pm local time (7pm IST).

Sri Lanka faced a huge blow earlier this month when skipper Kusal Mendis and fast bowler Binura Fernando were ruled out of the series due to hamstring and back injuries respectively. Asalanka will lead them, while Rathnayake and Madushanka have replaced the two injured players.

Meanwhile, England will also miss Phil Salt, Jacob Bethell and Sam Curran due to different injuries. Donald and are the new faces picked in their squad. Jamie Overton returns after missing the T20I series vs India, while Atkinson and Duckett have been recalled. Rehan Ahmed and Luke Wood have been left out of the T20I squad.
