After the group stage, the men's cricket knockout matches are set to begin on September 28 at the Asian Games. Here's how to watch the tournament live.
Malaysia, Hong Kong China, Nepal and Afghanistan qualified for the knockout stage of the men’s cricket competition of the from the group stage. The top four Full Member nations – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh – received direct entry into the quarter-finals based on their ICC T20I rankings.
Accordingly, Pakistan will face Hong Kong in the first quarter-final while the finalists of the previous edition, India and Afghanistan, will lock horns against each other in the second. Both will be played on Monday, September 28.
The two other quarter-finals, Sri Lanka vs Nepal and Bangladesh vs Malaysia, are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 29. The two semi-finals will be played on October 1, while the bronze medal and gold medal matches will be played on October 3.
All the matches will take place at the Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin, with the scheduled start times of the games being 9am local time (5.30am IST, 1am UK time) and 2pm local time (10.30am IST, 6am UK time).
