Six teams - UAE Bulls, Yas Lions, Royal Desert Champions, Emirates Eagles, United Tigers and Arabian Aces - will fight it out for glory. Each team will play the others twice in the league stage before the top team reaches the final, while the second- and third-placed teams lock horns in the qualifier.

Some of T20 cricket's biggest stars, including Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Nicholas Pooran, Philip Salt, Kusal Perera, Trent Boult, Andre Russell, and , are set to feature. There's a question mark over the participation of Pakistan cricketers, with the PCB demanding fees to issue No Objection Certificates(NOCs).

The league stage matches will conclude on November 19, with the qualifier and final scheduled for November 20.

All 32 matches of the competition will be played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. On double-header days, the action kicks off at 5:45pm local time (7:15pm IST, 1:45pm UK time). When three matches are packed into a single day, play begins earlier at 3:30pm local time (5pm IST, 11:30am UK time).
