The Red Bull drivers had contrasting fortunes on lap one.

Max Verstappen moved into second place thanks to the squabbling Ferraris. With Charles Leclerc ahead collecting a five-second time penalty, one Red Bull was on course to take the lead.

But Isack Hadjar was sent spinning by George Russell and fell to 22nd and last. He wasn’t able to make his way back into the points.

However Racing Bulls driver Liam Lawson was able to salvage two points after starting from the pit lane.
